Sourcing coffee is about people as much as it is about beans. For decades we’ve worked directly with farming communities around the world, building partnerships that span generations. These relationships give producers the confidence to invest in their land and future while ensuring we can consistently deliver coffee of the highest quality.

Setting Standards

We pioneered ethical certifications in the UK and Ireland, introducing the first Fairtrade espresso in 1997 and the world’s first triple-certified espresso in 2004. Today, we continue to support farmers in achieving and maintaining Fairtrade, Organic and Rainforest Alliance standards. Certifications are important, but they are only the foundation. The real story is the care, expertise and dedication of the people who grow our coffee.
