Milk Master Class

The focus of this intensive hands-on class is simple: milk. It's a half day session for baristas who already work in a coffee shop environment. It'll improve your milk knowledge and texturing techniques; by the end you'll be well on your way to creating amazing latte art.

milk class will help you understand:

  • different milk types and how they affect milk foam
  • the importance of proteins and fat in milk
  • the principles of latte art
  • the role of temperature in milk foaming

Alongside the theory, you'll practise non-stop.  You'll  foam, swirl, surf, pour and work your milk until it's perfect.

  • The pour - learn the principles of latte art
  • Practise, practise, practise - practise at least three latte art designs
  • And finally - finishing touches for your latte art

start and finish

This is a half day course. The morning course runs from 9.30am-12.30pm. The afternoon course runs from 1.30pm-4.30pm.
