Pop into any coffee shop and you
might see a charity collection box sitting on the counter.
Pop into Tinderbox
in Glasgow or London and youll notice something
a little bit different an invitation to donate
your change to Coffee Kids.
Its a great cause run
by an American charity. The idea is to help improve
the quality of life for children and families who live
in coffee-growing communities around the world. And
its working. Every single Coffee Kids project
is different, solving local problems instead of imposing
a big solution. That could mean scholarships
or money for school supplies right through to
democratically run community banks offering low cost
credit.
Coffee Kids is even promoting renewable
energy, health improvements and school building programmes.
If you want to find out more,
or order your collection boxes, please visit www.coffeekids.org
or call Julie MacDonald at Matthew Algie on 0800 263333.
