We know where and how all of the beans we roast were grown. By visiting coffee farmers and co-ops across the continents, we secure supplies of the best quality green beans.

We launched the UK's first Fairtrade espresso back in 1997. Today, most of our coffee is Fairtrade. But we didn't stop there. We also buy organic and Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee. And if you find it hard to choose which to support - you don't need to. We have a range of coffees which are certified Fairtrade, organic and Rainforest Alliance so your coffee does its bit to support people and the planet.

Coffee made with fresh beans tastes better. Fact. But how fresh is fresh? For us, the answer is either 'very' or 'ridiculously'.

For very fresh coffee, roasted beans and filter coffees need to be brewed as soon as possible. So we subscribe to the following mantra: immediate despatch good, gratuitous stockpiling bad.

For ridiculously fresh coffee, our Roasted To Order espressos are delivered within days of roasting.
