Milk Master Class


The focus of this intensive hands-on class is simple: milk. It's a half day session for baristas who already work in a coffee shop environment. It'll improve your milk knowledge and texturing techniques; by the end you'll be well on your way to creating amazing latte art.

COURSE OUTLINE

  • Looking at different milk types, composition and how this will affect milk foam
  • Practical and sensory analysis of milk types and how they behave
  • Understanding the perfect milk texture and technique for achieving latte art
  • Apply the principles and techniques of latte art, practicing 3 core patterns

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Basic understanding of steaming milk and some experience with an espresso machine and grinder

DURATION

Half day 9.30am-12.30pm or 1.30pm-4.30pm.
